MICHAEL DeMOCKER / THE TIMES-PICAYUNE As if the heavens agreed this is indeed Lombardi Gras, a cloud that looks remarkably like the Superdome hovers over the Thoth parade as it makes its way down Henry Clay Avenue on Sunday, February 14, 2010. Several parade-goers stopped catching beads to marvel at and take pictures of the cloud.

MIAMI – A few hours before the greatest moment of his football career, was in a chair, in his hotel, getting the most prophetic haircut of his life. Three images were being carved into his head: a Lombardi Trophy, the Louisiana Superdome and “SB44” – an homage to Super Bowl XLIV. Threading the three images together was a road, meant to symbolize the journey from New Orleans to the NFL’s ultimate victory.
The only thing that was missing from the image was Porter himself, and the Saints following in his wake to the Lombardi Trophy, and the greatest sports triumph in New Orleans’ history.
“Now you can look at the Lombardi Trophy on that same road,” he would say of his haircut on Sunday night, “going back to the Superdome.”
He may have been born in Fall River, Massachusetts, BUT.. his heart is in New Orleans ! In 1982, Lagasse replaced Paul Prudhomme as executive chef of the famed New Orleans restaurant Commander’s Palace.
Well a a few members of the Whodatnation were lucky to have lunch in Miami at one of Emeri’s places and boy was it good ! We also had the chance to see Food Network personality Mario Batali who was at Emeri’s restaurant.
If you are on South Beach and hungry go to the Lowes and check his place out. He was wearing a “Whodatnation” pin but one of the girls covered it up : )
Chuck Foreman will cheer for the Saints !
A few members of the Who Dat Nation went to the NFL Legends 5th Annual Bowling Pins for Charity Classic tonight and had the chance to bowl with a great member of the NFL, Chuck Foreman !
Chuck was a little upset that his Vikings did not make it to the Super Bowl but did say he was going to cheer for the Saints, a fellow NFC team.
