With Saints leading rusher Chris Ivory out for the playoffs, and Pierre Thomas fighting a nagging ankle injury, concern is growing that a lack of a healthy running game could hurt the Saints chances to get back to the Super Bowl.
“That could be an Achilles heel, you know, to whether or not the Saints can ‘two dat’,” Former Saints QB Bobby Hebert said on WWL’s Sportstalk. “Hopefully Pierre (Thomas) is healthy.”
