A tsunami of ado over the New Orleans Saints‘ regular-season finish last season dissipated to nothing, as the confident team justified every clenched-tooth reply.

Then, they calmly and defiantly sang the chorus that three consecutive losses entering the playoffs meant nothing to them, that the previous historical absolute that no team ever had done that and won a Super Bowl was moot, because none of the prior teams were these Saints.

So they’re accustomed to ado.

Good thing, too, because there’s more of it where that came from after Sunday’s 23-13 loss to Tampa Bay in the regular-season finale at the Superdome.
