Reggie Bush has become just another face in New Orleans Saints huddle: Jeff Duncan

Reggie Bush told reporters Friday he expects to play against the Washington Redskins today.

Bush has missed the past two games with a painful bone bruise in his left knee. So his return to the lineup is welcomed news for New Orleans Saints fans and fantasy football owners worldwide.

What he didn’t say is if he expects to play a lot. Or well,  for that matter.

Bush has not played very much or particularly well this season,  his fourth with the Saints.

To say it’s been a disappointing season for the speedy scatback would be an understatement. In nine games,  he has 484 yards from scrimmage  —  277 rushing,  207 receiving  —  and ranks 116h in the NFL in all-purpose yards with 564. He would come close to compiling those numbers in one game at Southern Cal.
