New Orleans Saints beat the Washington Redskins 33-30 in overtime

LANDOVER, MD.

Garrett Hartley’s 18-yard field goal in overtime capped an unprobable comeback by the New Orleans Saints, as they squeaked by the Washington Redskins 33-30 at FedEx Field. The Saints remain undefeated at 12-0.

Saints quarterback Drew Brees had another incredible game, going 35-of-49 for for 419 yards and two touchdowns.

Robert Meachem had a huge day, with eight catches for 142 yards and a touchdown. He made a ton of big plays in the game, key catches at the end when the Saints needed them and he scored near the end of the first half after stripping a defender who had intercepted a pass and returning it for a touchdown.
